FAQs

  • DO YOU HAVE A SHOP WE CAN VISIT?

We don't have a shop to visit and view items as we make to order, if you contact us with any products you would like to view we occasionally have some finished ready to deliver to customers you may view by appointment in Lake Brunner.

  • DO YOU DELIVER TO THE NORTH ISLAND?

YES! we can now offer freight for most of our items, unfortunately we don’t ship our dining tables/sets due to the size/weight of them freight costs are too high.

  • HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO MAKE/DELIVER?

We aim to have West Coast and posted orders done within 1-2 weeks and Canterbury delivers usually 2-3 weeks (delivery is usually the end of each month)

  • CAN YOU MATCH MY FURNITURE?

We have two main stains we use and also black paint, we don't colour match as different timber will not look the same even with the same stain.

  • WHY DOES TIMBER SOMETIMES SPLIT OR CRACK

Timber is a natural product, and it’s normal for it to move a little as it adjusts to a new environment. Wood is hygroscopic, which means it absorbs and releases moisture from the air. As the moisture and temperature around it change, the wood expands and contracts. This can cause cracks or splits—especially in larger slabs—as the timber finds balance with the conditions in your home or space. It’s not a fault, just part of how real wood behaves.

  • WHAT TIMBER DO YOU USE?

We use untreated and kiln dried Nz Oregon that we have specially processed for us by a Christchurch Mill.
